Spots Before My Eyes: A Blog Contest

I have been dyeing up a storm lately for Knot Another Hat and for Woolgirl. I only have one little problem, I had a small dyeing accident. In fact, I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but here it is:

This skein had a fun little experience in the steamer and some how came out with red spots (click on the picture to see the larger image). May I also mention the irony of these skeins being called Tequila? I think that they are pretty, but because I'm not 100% sure of how it happened, it isn't repeatable. Thus, the blog contest. To enter, simply leave me a comment on this post by Sunday. I will use a random number generator, the same one used by Wendy, to pick two winners. Remember that each skein can either make a bag, a scarf, or 3 headbands! I will also include a copy of either the scarf or the headband pattern, your choice! So, get commenting!

ETA: This yarn is 100% Luster Nylon, which is very soft and a lot of fun to work with. It is a ribbon yarn and should be knit on #11s.

I love the colors. You named it Tequila so the red could be for the "sunrise" part!!!
I'm entering your contest, too, by the way.
Thanks

Please enter me for the contest! I think it's pretty. At least it's a nice red and didn't bleed with the green to make something icky. What kind of fiber is that?

since the color is named tequilla i should share my infamous margarita recipe. all measurements are approximate:

in a blender, pour about 3/4 cup of tequilla and a generous 1/4 cup triple sec. fill almost to the top with ice and add about 2/3 of a can of frozen limade. add about a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and blend. (you can just put the lid back on the remainder of the can of limade and stick it back in the freezer for next time.)

What pretty colors! They remind me of the colors in a swimming pool when the sunlight plays over the water.

Congratulations on all of the mentions in blogland lately. I hope you are getting lots of business for your shop!

I think it's a great colorway! You could call the spots a "design element"!

I'm all for serendipity!
